1, Kimberley  Hole ini berada di South Africa, Kedalamannya mencapai ± 1.100 meter. Lubang ini digali oleh manusia yang jumlahnya lebih dari 50.000 orang, lubang ini memproduksi ± 3 ton berlian (Wow). Tanah yang tebuang dari hasil galian ini 22,5 juta ton.

2. Glory Hole Monticello Dam , di California! Ini adalah lubang spillway terbesar di dunia.digunkan apabila air sudah melebihi kapasitas waduk dan harus dikurangi volumenya. Dengan ukuran ini memungkinkan untuk mengkonsumsi 14.400 kubik air setiap detik.

13 Tahun - Berkeringat Darah!

Seorang gadis India yang berusia 13 tahun dan mengeluarkan darah secara spontan dari pori-pori tubuhnya telah membuat bingung para dokter di negeri itu, demikian laporan media Inggris.

Twinkle Dwivedi, yang kehilangan darah dari kulitnya tanpa terluka atau tergores, harus menjalani transfusi darah setelah banyak darah mengalir dari mata, hidung, tengkuk, dan telapak kakinya.

“Menakutkan dan kacau. Baju sekolah saya jadi berwarna merah. Tak seorang pun mau mendekati saya atau bermain dengan saya,” kata Dwivedi.
“Saya dulu selalu menangis hampir setiap kali itu terjadi. Tetapi sekarang saya hanya dapat berusaha bersikap tenang,” katanya.

Gadis belia tersebut dulu adalah seorang gadis normal, kata laporan media itu, sampai suatu hari pada Juli 2007, ketika secara tiba-tiba darah keluar dari mulutnya.

Seorang dokter mendiagnosisnya sebagai bisul. Namun beberapa pekan kemudian, ia mulai berdarah antara lima dan 20 kali sehari dari pori-pori di bagian bawah rambut, hidung, mata, dan kakinya.

Warga desa di dekat tempat tinggalnya percaya ia pasti telah dikutuk dan pernah mengeluarkan kata-kata kasar di jalan.

Semua dokter yang telah diminta berkonsultasi oleh keluarga Dwivedi tak dapat menemukan obat sementara mereka percaya kondisi gadis remaja tersebut adalah jenis ekstrem gangguan “platelet” darah yang langka.

Para dokter dari All India Institute of Medical Sciences di New Delhi berpendapat ia terserang Gangguan Platelet Jenis 2, kondisi saat darah sangat rendah di dalam partikel darah. Mereka mengatakan darah Dwivedi encer dan memiliki warna merah anggur muda, tapi mereka tak dapat menemukan obat untuk membuat darah itu jadi lebih kental.

Namun, ada harapan setelah seorang konsultan hematologi Inggris mengatakan penyakit itu ada obatnya.

Dr. Drew Provan, dari Barts Hospital di London, mengatakan, gadis berusia 13 tahun tersebut mungkin terserang penyakit Von Willebrand Jenis II, yaitu terjadinya penurunan protein yang disebut faktor Von Willebrand yang penting selama tahap awal pembekuan.

Dwivedi, yang memiliki tiga saudara perempuan, hidup bersama keluarganya di Kota Lucknow, daerah Almbagh, negara bagian Uttra Pradesh, India.
