7 Kebohongan terheboh sedunia
1.Tahun 1967, gaya gravitasi hilang untuk sementasa waktu
Pada tahun 1976, astronom terkenal Inggris, Patrick Moore, mengumumkan di radio BBC bahwa pada jam 9:47 pagi akan hadir fenomena yang cuman ada sekali seumur hidup. Pada saat itu Pluto akan lewat di belakang Yupiter sehingga akan mengakibatkan perubahan gravitasi hilang di bumi selama beberapa waktu. Moore berkata bahwa jika mereka melompat tepat pada jam tersebut, maka dia akan merasakan sensasi melayang di udara seperti yang dialami astronot di luar angkasa. Ratusan orang menelpon melaporkan merasakan sensasi unik ini. Bahkan ada seorang wanita melaporkan ia dan sebelas temannya telah bangkit dari kursi dan melayang disekitar ruanga
2.Panen Spaghetti di Swiss tahun 1957
Sebuah Program TV BBC , Panorama melaporkan bahwa di musim dingin yang cukup tenang ini , para petani wanita di swiss sedangkan bergembira memanen spaghetti dari pohon-pohon spaghetti di sebuah perkebunan. BBC kebanjiran panggilan yang tidak henti-hentinya dari pemirsa yang ingin mengetahui dimana bisa mendapatkan benih spaghetti dan cara menanamnya.Tentu saja spaghetti itu terbuat dari tepung dan air, bukan seperti yang digambarkan oleh Panorama Panen Spaghetti di swiss.
3.Tahun 1977 ---> Tempat liburan Indah di San Serriffe
Koran harian Inggris , The Guardian menerbitkan sampai tujuh halaman mengenai keindahan di San Serriffe,sebuah republik kecil di Samudra Hindia yang terdiri atas pulau-pulau yang berbentuk semicolon. Dalam artikel menjelaskan kondisi geografi, keindahan pulau dan kebudayaan dua pulau utamanya yaitu Upper Caisse dan Lower Caisse. Dengan ibukota bernama Bodoni dan pemimpinnya adalah “General Pica”. Dalam sehari ratusan orang menelepon The Guardian untuk menanyakan informasi lebih lanjut tempat liburan yang indah tersebut. Keberhasilan April Mop ini membuat The Guardian di diskreditkan oleh masyarakat pada dekade tersebut.
4. Tahun 1998 Alabama mengubah nilai Phi (Diameter keliling lingkaran)
sebuah newsletter berjudul “New Mexicans for Science and Reason” berisi artikel Pemerintahan Alabama telah setuju untuk mengubah nilai konstan Pi dari 3,14159 menjadi bilangan bulat 3,0. Artikel yang dibuat di internet dengan segera menyebar keseluruh penjuru penguna internet. Pemerintah Alabama kocar kacir menerima panggilan dari ratusan orang yang memprotes perundang-undangan itu. Padahal Artikel itu dibuat untuk sebuah parodi/ lelucon dalam membatasi pengajaran evolusi yang ditulis oleh Mark Boslough ahli fisika.
5.Tahun 1998, Burger untuk orang kidal
Burger King menerbitkan iklan satu halaman penuh di harian USA Today, mengumumkan hadirnya “Left-Handed Whopper” yang sengaja didesain untuk 32 juta orang kidal di amerika. Menurut iklan tersebut, letak isi burger baru ini diputar 180 derajat dengan isi yang tetap sama dengan burger biasa, Keesokan harinya, Jaringan Burger King mengumumkan hal tersebut hanya lelucon,mereka menerima ribuan pesanan untuk jenis burger baru mereka, dan juga mendapat pesanan untuk jenis “right-handed”.
6.Spesies baru di antartika pada tahun 1995
Majalah Discover mengumumkan seorang ahli biologi terkenal bernama Dr Aprile Pazzo berhasil menemukan spesies baru di Antartika “The Hotheaded Naked Ice Borer” mengambarkan seperti makhluk ini seperti pinguin. dan dapat melaju dengan kecepatan tinggi di atas es. Setelah banyak penelitian oleh Dr Aprile Pazzo membuat sebuah teori bahwa kemungkinan hewan ini ikut bertanggung jawab atas kehilangan misterius yang dicatat dalam Antartika Philippe Poisson thn 1837. Discover menyatakan bahwa lebih banyak menerima email menanyakan artikel tersebut daripada semua artikel sejarah yang pernah di buatnya. (buat anda yang masi belum mengerti, Aprile Pazzo adalah bahasa Italia untuk April Fool) The Hotheaded Naked Ice Borer.

Pada tahun tersebut, di swedia masih hanya ada satu siaran TV, dan masi disiarkan dengan warna hitam putih. Pakar Teknis, Kjell Stensson muncul di berita dan mengumumkan berkat teknologi baru kini masyarakat telah dapat menikmati siaran tv berwarna hanya dengan cara alternatif “Memasang Stocking Nilon pada televisi mereka”. Ribuan orang mengambil bagian dari rencana tersebut, Alhasil fasilitas tv berwarna baru dapat dinikmati masyarakat swiss di tahun 1970.
